Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager

Primary Duties:

  • Responsible for month-end closing and associated journal entries

  • Prepare all financial records- Income Statements; Balance Sheets; Statements of Cash Flow

  • Prepare monthly combining financial statements for all entities

  • Keep all capital expenditure and fixed asset records for all entities

  • Monitor depreciation records and activity monthly

  • Assist with budgeting / forecasting and monitoring of progress against

  • Present financial results at management team meetings

  • Offer ideas for cost savings and efficiency improvements

  • Manage annual audit process with external auditors

  • Accounts Receivable – apply daily cash receipts and collection of past due invoices.

Secondary Duties:

  • Assist and mentor Accounting Manger

  • Assist with tax issues including: sales tax, state, federal, international

  • Assist with bank financing and debt agreements

  • Assist with insurance policies and reporting:  building, liability, and receivables insurances

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements/Qualifications to perform duties:

  • BA or BS in Accounting

  • Accounting software knowledge

  • Manufacturing accounting experience

Job’s Responsibility/Authority Regarding Nonconforming Product:

  • Accounting for shipped and invoiced nonconforming product

Other Essential Duties:

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, cooperate with co-workers, and communicate in a positive, productive manner with co-workers and/or customers.

  • Must be able to climb stairs/ladder; to occasionally squat, bend, stoop, and reach; to move quickly throughout facility; and to perform fine motor skills.  Position requires visual acuity and ability to communicate verbally with co-workers and/or customers.

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. repeatedly during the workday.  Position may require the entire workday be spent sitting at a desk or may require repeated standing and walking throughout the workday, based on business needs.

  • Position requires occasional off-site travel.

  • Must be able and willing to comply with K-Rain’s Safety Policy and Procedures.
